Yvonne Boone, 95 of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Seymour.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bose Jujuvarapu and Deacon Jim Novak officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Yvonne was born on January 8, 1927 in Strong City, Kansas to Murven and Thelma Lawless Carrier. She was a graduate of Strong City High School and worked as a telephone operator before marrying Roy Boone, Jr. on October 5, 1948 in Strong City, Kansas. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Boone, Jr., a daughter, Janet Awalt and a son, Chris Boone.
She is survived by 3 sons, Sam Boone and wife Connie of Seymour, Pat Boone of Knoxville, TN and Johnny Gann and wife, Tamara of Seymour; 2 daughters, Cindy Hostas and husband, Ronnie and Nancy Boone, all of Seymour; a sister, Phyllis Howard of Seymour; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Sunday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
The family suggests memorials to the Baylor County Library.
