Leonard Janes Died at Ames Hospital
Funeral services for Leonard Janes, 41, who died Wednesday morning at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran church in Jewell.
The Rev. Neese will officiate with burial being made in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Janes had been seriously ill since May and had been at the Ames hospital the past 10 days receiving treatment for heart trouble.
A trucker and a stock buyer, Mr. Janes formerly operated a farm south of Blairsburg.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mae Janes of Blairsburg; four brothers, Ollie of Alden, Harry of Webster City, Veryl of Wesley and James of Kamrar, and also a number of nieces and nephews.
