Jeremy was a very proud veteran, serving in the United States Air Force 2002 -2006 where he earned his A.S Degree in Electronic Systems Technology. He went on to begin his career in telecommunications with AT&T for a few years and then dedicated himself to the Department of Corrections as a correctional officer sergeant for 10 years. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.
Jeremy met his wife, Stephanie (Trotter) Davis in 2015 while both working within the Florida Department of Corrections. They married on May 12th, 2018. In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband and father, Jeremy also loved hunting, riding in the woods, and building bat houses, bird feeders and bird houses in his shop.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Bill and Maggie Mae Davis and maternal grandparents Ray and Winsom Chewning. He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Susan Davis of Old Town Fl, His wife Stephanie Davis of Old Town, Fl, his children Hunter Davis, Lauren Davis and stepson, Elijah Johnson, his sister Jenny (Aaron) Mikell of Branford Fl, his niece and nephew Austin and Ella Mikell along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Rick Gooding Funeral Home in Cross City. Burial will follow at Old McCrabb Cemetery in Old Town. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
