She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. Later she worked for the Federal Government for 17 years. Through the years she was a faithful church member in each community where Ed's job led them. Judy has steadfastly prayed for her family and friends to serve God by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ's finished work. The most important words she had to say are, "Read your Bible. God gave us 66 books so we will know how to love Him, serve Him and help one another. This is the only way we have true peace with God."
She is survived by her son, Joe Wampler and wife, Gail, of Laurinburg, NC, her daughter, Diane Roth Alderman Anderson and husband, Doug, of Bland, VA, her grandchildren, Tina Dean (John), Bill Wampler (Angie), Steve Wampler (Stephanie), Travis Wampler (Kerri), Thomas Alderman, Christie Scalf (Chris), Alana Clay (Justin), Andrew Anderson (Devin), and Alexander Anderson. She also had 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Prestwick Village Assisted Living for the care and support that was graciously provided.
Her graveside service will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah, Georgia 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
