Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Richland Hills Baptist Church. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
Jerry was a retired teacher for the Birdville school district, having taught for over 30 years. She was a longtime member of Richland Hills Baptist Church, a member of the Ruth Class and a participant in the 39'ers. Jerry had an active social life, attending classes at Northeast Tarrant Junior College and sitting on the board of the "T," the local commuter bus service. She traveled to Amman, Jordan, in 2005 to attend the wedding of her granddaughter, Hala. She was widely traveled until recent years, having visited Mexico, many U.S. states, the Middle East and Europe several times. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and family.
Survivors: She leaves behind her daughters, Terry Ann Kawasmi and Jeanie Lou Worthey; grandchildren, Tim, Lana, Laura and Hala; and sisters, Maurine Bauer, Dorothy Garland and Billie Farrar.
