Lannie Polly Robbins, 88, passed away Jan. 23, 2008, in a local hospital. She was a native of Johnson County, North Carolina, and a daughter of the late Beverly and Elnora Robbins. She was a member of West Park Church of Christ. Survivors include two sisters, Mildred Bailey of Suffolk and Geraldine Bissette of Portsmouth; and one brother, Ray Robbins and wife Treva of Portsmouth. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Keith Lewis. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
