Paul H. Sims , East Shawnee Avenue, Plymouth, died Saturday at homeBorn on Aug. 7, 1927, in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Arthur and Anna Gillespie Sims .
Before retiring, he was employed for many years by the Atwater Throwing Co., Plymouth.
He was a member of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church, Plymouth, and its Sunday school.
He was also a member of the Plymouth Methodist Church Senior Citizens Club, Plymouth.
He and his wife, the former Margaret Price, would have celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on Dec. 1.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, Arthur, Charles, William and John; sisters, Mrs. Margaret Paul ; Mrs. Mabel Balleck; Mrs. Miriam Boyd.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Paul Jr., Plymouth; Harold, New Cumberland; Edward, Lansdale; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Donna) Schacht, Plymouth; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Joseph Badman Funeral Home, 247 E. Main St., Plymouth, with his pastor, the Rev. Ronald Gottstein, officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church, 185 Franklin St., 18651, or to the Plymouth Ambulance Association.
