Born to Lloyd and Pauline Eller in Central Texas, Ima Jean grew up one of 9 children, the eldest of her 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She met the love of her life, Edward, in Austin, and they were married June 21, 1958. Through their 54 years of marriage, they raised 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
A lover of nature, Ima Jean, or Chicken Grandma as she was affectionately referred to, always had animals, a garden, and farm fresh eggs to share. She also shared her love with her church families at Haynie Chapel and Lighthouse Gospel, where she could always be found in the kitchen for Sunday social.
She is survived by her daughters: Bonita Mueller (Gerald) of Hutto, Sandra Carlow (Jerry) of San Antonio, and son, Kenneth Faglie (Maria).
The family will hold visitation on Friday, April 29th from 5-8pm at Providence Funeral Home, Bastrop, a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 30th at 10am at Providence Funeral Home Bastrop with burial to follow Saturday at 1pm at Dignity Cook Walden Capital Parks Pflugerville.
The family would like to thank Texas Home Health Hospice and her niece and caregiver Kelly Rodela for all the care provided in her final months.
