Beattyville - Mrs. Mary Frances Dunaway, 70, of Beattyville, died at 3 p.m. Monday at her home after a long illness. She was a native of Lee County and a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors are six sons, James and Orville Dunaway, Ludlow; Fred Dunaway, Dayton, Ohio; Roscoe Dunaway, Covington; Walter and Thomas Dunaway, Beattyville; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Roach, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Jeanetta Handlon, Beattyville; three brothers, Robert Johnson, Ravenna; William Johnson, Whitley City, and Henry Johnson, Beattyville; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Brown, Beattyville, and Mrs. Lyronia Couch, Seymour, Ind., and 32 grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the residence by the Rev. Conley Tirey. Burial will be in the Akers Cemetery. The body was taken to the residence from the Newnam Funeral Home.
