Stanley Lewis "Stan" Arnold, 66, of Hendersonville, died Saturday, July 2, 2022 in his residence.

Born in Seattle, Washington, he was the husband of Bonnie Kay (Forte) Arnold, and the son of the late Thomas Emerson and Rolyn Jean (Bramblett) Arnold. He was also preceded in death by a niece, Amanda Brooks.

Stan was a member of Fletcher United Methodist Church and was also an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.

An Automotive Engineer for the majority of his life, he was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers. Also a motorcycle enthusiast, he was a member of Knob Mountain Motorcycle Club (Knobbies) and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association of America.

In addition to his wife of 32 years, Stan is survived by two sons: Ray and his wife Elisha and Wade and his wife Jill; six grandchildren: Devin, Dom, Ethan, Nathan, Lincoln, and Hanna; two brothers: Steve and his wife Brenda and Sid and his wife Laurel; one sister, Sandra Brooks and her husband Ricky; a sister-in-law, Peggy Oberg (Dan); a brother-in-law, Gene Forte (Pamela); Michele Walsh, who was like a daughter; and her son Danny Shiver, who was like a grandson.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Fletcher UMC with Rev. Dan Oberg and Rev. Dr. Stephen Ray officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Patty's Chapel Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM prior to the service at the church.
