After graduation, Geneva met Bill at the Cimarron Rodeo. Shortly after, Bill and Geneva were married Dec. 2, 1933. To this union were born three wonderful sons:?Bill Jr. of Cimarron, Mark of Las Cruces and Tom of Cimarron.
Geneva spent the next 30-plus years running a ranching business and raising a family with her husband Bill. She lived and ranched with her husband most of her adult life in Eagle Nest, Ute Park, Littlefield, Texas, Tucumcari and Cimarron. In 1950, Bill and Geneva sold the Moreno Valley Ranch in New Mexico.
In 1968, Geneva began working for the Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, where she made many lifelong friends. She had 13 years of great memories working at Philmont. She wanted to thank everyone who touched her life.
Throughout her life, Geneva enjoyed being an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Cimarron and the Eastern Star, also in Cimarron. Whether she was feeding cowboys on the ranch, singing in the church choir or working in her flower garden at home, she enjoyed her life. She was a loving wife, a fabulous mother and a steadfast and loyal friend.
