Ray was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He lived his life to the fullest in spite of being a stroke survivor for the past 17 years. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Ray began a 47-year international career in the optical industry. He worked for the Warner Lambert subsidiary, American Optical in Massachusetts and the Essilor USA subsidiary, Omega Optical in Dallas. An avid weekend golfer, dad was proud of his hole-in-one at Brookhaven Country Club. We will miss his spunky personality and jarring one-liners.
His parents, Alfred and Rose, brother Norman and sister Jeannette, preceded Ray in death.
