She was a 1965 graduate of Clarksville High School and had worked at Pro Laminator's and the Census Bureau. Charlene was a longtime member of Charlestown Road Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School. She was an animal lover and had enjoyed volunteering at the Clark County Animal Shelter.
In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her twin brother, Harold Eugene Adamson.
Charlene is survived by her brother, Kevin Lynn Adamson (Jonell); nephew, Christopher Adamson; and good friends and caregivers, Jean Randall and Penny Madden.
Charlene's wish was to be cremated. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Charlestown Road Church of Christ (4601 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150), with her memorial service taking place at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest privately at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
