Elisabeth was a Dutch civilian war casualty of World War II. She was killed on Kelfkensbos street, amidst a large crowd sheltering at a tram stop. A cluster bomb fell into the crowd, killing thirty-nine people. It was part of a large scale, Allied-led bombing of the city of Nijmegen on February 22, 1944.
