SARASOTA—Simon H. Carroll, 87, of 4860 Southland Drive, died Tuesday. A native of Covington County, Alabama, he had previously resided in Dade City. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include three sons, William C. Carroll, North Carolina; Byron C. and Bobby E. Carroll, both of Sarasota; two daughters, Mrs. Noble Straughn, Sarasota, and Miss Doris M. Carroll, Dade City; 22 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
