Frank Grimesey, age 76 of Boscobel, passed away on June 29, 2022 at Gundersen Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Frank was born on December 17, 1945, in Boscobel, the son of Charles (Bill) and Wilma (Anderson) Grimesey. Frank was raised in the Boscobel/Blue River area and was a 1965 graduate of Boscobel High School.

Frank worked in construction in Madison following graduation. He returned to the Boscobel area for his love of farming. He later worked many years at Sanitary Creamery / Mid Am.

Frank married Phyllis Pfalz on November 14, 1987 at the Blue River United Methodist Church and together they raised their children, DuWayne, Peggy and Tanya.

Frank was a member of the Boscobel Fire Department and the Boscobel Antique Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family, tractor pulls, parades, playing cards at the Fin and occasionally playing a practical joke on one of his friends. He very much enjoyed driving for his friends in the Amish community along with hauling produce, flowers, etc. and driving the children to school was his real joy in retirement.

Frank was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis in 2011, parents, Bill and Wilma Grimesey, brothers, Lloyd Grimesey and Harry Grimesey, sister-in-law, Geneva Grimesey, brother-in-law, Darrell Jeidy, mother and father-in-law, DuWayne and Eva (Burns) Pfalz, sister-in-law, Doreen Pfalz, brother-in-law, David Ariss, and grandson, Fredrick.

He is survived by his son, DuWayne (Cassandra) Dollar of Blue River, daughters, Peggy Dollar (Derek Harris) of Boscobel and Tanya (Matthew) Habel of Lone Rock, his beloved cat, Tiger, along with grandchildren: Wesley, Christopher, Kristina, Derek, Hannah, Reanna, Hally and Quinton, and four great grandchildren with one on the way.

Frank is also survived by his sister, Betty Jeidy, brother, Chuck (Vicky) Grimesey, sister-in-law, Shirley Grimesey, sister-in-law, Audrey Ariss, and brother-in-law, Jerry (Liz) Pfalz.

Funeral services will be held at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Dan Wessel officiating; burial to be in the Boscobel Cemetery. Immediately following the committal service, food and time of fellowship will be held at the Boscobel Antique Club Grounds. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, July 5th at the Kendall Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
