Mrs. Alice Bontz, wife of Jacob Bontz, died Nov. 30th, at her home in Walnut, Bureau county. The deceased was a daughter of Mrs. Wm. Down of Stark, in which vicinity she was well known in former years. Besides her husband and two sons, she is survived by her mother, three brothers and two sisters. Several of the relatives from Stark went up to attend the funeral.
