SUNDAY, Roy, at the young age of 93, peacefully passed away on January 20, 2021.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents Roy Sunday & Dorothy Miller Klushman, beloved wife of 54 years Sharon Lee Sunday, sisters Velma Minkler & Sandra Nakamura, daughter Chris McBee, grandson Larry Dalton and granddaughter Mandi Dalton.
Survived by 2 daughters Deborah Sunday-Dalton of Butler KY & Teresa Hathaway (Curt) of Englewood OH, son-in-law Tom McBee (Barb) of Xenia OH, brother-in-law James Schenck (Kay) of Tipp City OH, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & friends.
Roy proudly served in the U S Navy & Merchant Marines and retired while holding the position of Captain with the City of Dayton Fire Department.
Roy enjoyed his time with family, friends, as an umpire, golfer and active member of Milton Athletic Club.
Roy was loved by many and will be missed by all. Arrangements entrusted to the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
