Wayne coached Dixie Youth Boys Baseball through the Indian Trail Athletic Association for several years. Then he coached the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Men's Softball team for a long time. He is a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. He retired from NCDOT.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Baucom will begin at 2:00pm in the church sanctuary. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the family of Mr. Baucom.
