Lee was the son of Jesse Greenleaf Walker and Emma Jane Stewart Walker. He married Millie Pearl Hodges 13 Dec 1916. In 1917 Lee joined the Army and was sent to France, there he was one of thousands that were gassed by the enemy. He came home, but died young as result of gas exposure in France during WWI.

Marker on granite stone is in Pankey Park Cemetery, also known as Sams Valley Cemetery, Jackson County, Oregon.

Gravesite Details

There is no marker at the grave in Salem Pioneer Cemetery where his ashes were placed. Death Certificate shows cremation took place at Portland Crematorium, the Salem Pioneer Cemetery show burial as July 1923.
