Adler (A.J.) Weber, Sr. was born August 16, 1943 - the only son of the late Joseph Sam Weber and the late Mildred Bossier Weber. The Lord called him home Thursday, June 9, 2022.

He was a native and resident of Edgard, LA, and lived in Vacherie for many years after his marriage to his wife, Glenda Dumas.

A.J. was a 1962 graduate of Second Ward High School. Prior to retirement, A.J. was employed by John Manville and Avondale during his early years; Kaiser Aluminum and LaRoche Chemicals for most of his working career.

His precious memories will forever be cherished by his loving wife: Glenda Dumas Weber; children: Michelle Gautier (Keith), Adler Jr. (Kenyatta), Thaddeus Weber, and DaJyne Duhon (Benjamin); grandchildren: Ariane, Jazlynn, Malaya, Bryson and Nola; sisters: Evelyn Hunter (Carl) and Regina Burrell (late Bruno), sisters-in-law: Margaret Dumas, Shirley Dumas, Lois Dumas and Verna Dumas; brother-in-law: Leroy Bailey; aunt: Dolores Bossier (the late Alfred), and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother: Mildred Bossier Weber; father: Joseph Sam Weber; sisters and brothers-in law: Leonise Oubre (Snell), Dolter Keller (Julius), Earline Bailey, Delton Dumas (Dolores), Gentry Dumas, Morris Dumas, Raymond Dumas, Welton Dumas (Elodie), Hamilton Dumas, Bruno Burrell; and nephew: Mark Burrell.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2349 LA-18, Edgard, LA 70049. Visitation 8am-10am. Recitation of Rosary at 9am. Mass beginning at 10am. Entombment to follow at church mausoleum.
