VALLEJO -- Private funeral services were to be held at the Laurel Funeral Chapel in Oakland this afternoon for Mrs. Jessie Iness Erdman, 74, long-time Vallejo resident who died unexpectedly at Oakland Naval Hospital.
Mrs. Erdman, a native of Victor, Iowa, was the wife of Major William L. Erdman, USMC, Ret, 1363 Louisiana Street. The Erdmans had resided in Vallejo since 1918, except for periods when Major Erdman's Marine Corps duties took him to other areas.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Erdman is survived by three sons, Major George W. Erdman, USA, Fort Monroe, Virginina, John Paul Erdman, Sand Jose, and Lt Col Donovan D. Sult, USMC, Ret., of Carmel.∼Jessie Iness Plambeck in the Iowa, U.S., Births
