Andy served proudly in World War II, and was a member of VFW Post 76. He was an active Mason Past Master of Nat Washer Lodge, 33rd Degree, and Scottish Rite. Also, a member of the York Rite and the Alzafar Shrine.
Andy was a barber for 70 years at Five Points. He served very distinguished customers that included Mayor Sam Bell Steves and Chief of Police Fred Palmer and many others.
