Hazel E. Lindholm, age 93, of Wentworth, SD, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at Sanford Hospice, Sioux Falls.

Hazel E. Limmer was born June 18, 1921, at rural Wentworth, to Edwin and Martha (Ploetz) Limmer. She was baptized June 26, 1921 and confirmed April 14, 1935 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Wentworth. She attended St. Peter's School and later assisted Dr. Jordan at the clinic in Chester. Hazel married Kenneth Lindholm on January 9, 1944 at Wentworth. They farmed near Wentworth and retired in 1988. Kenneth died in 1991 and she moved into Wentworth in 1992.

Hazel was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, St. Peter's Quilters, and was a Sunday School teacher. She made dolls for the county health nurse and many homemade cards & crafts.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a baby boy Jonah Kenneth Lindholm; one daughter-in-law, Connie Lindholm; and one sister, Florence Meredith.

Survivors include five sons, Ted (Carolyn), Dan (Bonnie), Michael, Pat (Kim) and Loren (Amy) all of Wentworth; two daughters, Linda (Jimmy) Krsnak of Chester and Teresa (Todd) Garry of Sioux Falls; 25 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Aufdemberge of Dexter, MI.
