Anthony "Tony" Richard Casadidio, 79, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Dolly Casadidio for the past 50 years. He was born Aug. 20, 1930, in New Castle, Pa., a son of the late Mary C. and Alberto Victor Casadidio. He was an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance Company and former owner of Tony's Tastee Shop in Colonial Heights. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. Tony is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret C. McCullough. Along with his wife, Dolly, Anthony is survived by his children, Toni Casadidio-Schilling and her husband, Roger, Michael Williams and his wife, Tamara, and Terry Williams, and his wife, Mary; his four grandchildren, Chasen, Jonathan, Christopher and Amanda; two great-grandchildren, Addison and William; his two sisters, Joanna C. Dickinson and Elizabeth C. Dulick; his two nephews, Harry Dulick Jr. and Gregory Dulick; and his best friend, Anthony Marinelli. A graveside service was conducted April 30, 2010, at Fort Hill Memorial Park, with Dr. Richard Mooney officiating. Whitten Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Timberlake Chapel, handled arrangements.
