My Great-Uncle. Jesse Carl Laughlin was born on March 30, 1937 in Deming, New Mexico to Eva Fay Sullenger and Jesse Allen Laughlin. He served his country in the US Navy and got the Rank of Seaman First Class. He married Marion Wells in 1958, they later divorced. They had 3 Children, Sharon, Mike and Carla, he went on to marry 4 more times. He moved to San Angelo, Texas in the Mid 1960s and remained there for the remainder of his life. Uncle Sonny passed away of a heart attack at his home in San Angelo, Texas at the age of 66. He was survived by his wife Margie, Daughters Dr. Sharon Laughlin and Carla Garrett and husband Lyndle both of Riverside, California, Son Mike Laughlin of San Angelo, Texas, 4 Grandchildren Michael Laughlin Jr., Mindy Laughlin, James McKinney and Brian McKinney, Sister Dorothy Harp of Camarillo, California, 4 Nieces and Nephews Larry Laughlin and wife Joyce, Dale Laughlin and wife Marinda, Denise Walker and husband James and Ray Dean Harp.
