MANNSVILLE -- Services for Lucy Martha Adams, 94, were Saturday at Mannsville Baptist Church with Kenneth McCarthick officiating. Interment followed at Lone Cedar Cemetery.
Born April 22, 1906, in Magazine, Ark., to William and Temple McDonald, she died Sept. 7, 2000, in a Madill health care facility. She married Samuel Q. Adams on March 16, 1924, in Arkansas. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1973.
She lived most of her life at Mannsville.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. C.D. Barnes, Mannsville, and Mrs. Terry Colson, Yale; one sister, Tempie Lovine Williams, Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers were Carl Barnes, Lyndal Barnes, Weldon Barnes, Dustin Barnes, Leland Barnes and Nathan Barnes. Honorary bearers were Steve Larson and Royce Arnold.
Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home.
