This memorial is a placeholder for Lucy until we can figure out when she died and where she is buried.

Lucy was married first to Henry Fisher in 1904, but they divorced after having many children. Lucy's second husband Charles Runkle died in 1948. In the 1950 census, she is enumerated in Port Carbon, PA and listed as Lucy Runkel in a household which includes her daughter Claire Evans, son-in-law Robert Evans, and granddaughter Eileen Evans. Robert & Claire Evans at some point moved to Los Angeles County, CA where they are both buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier. After 1950, the last trace of Lucy I found is in her SSA record which shows an unknown update on 15 Oct 1976. Thus, she seems to have still been living in 1976. Some Ancestry researchers give her a date of death of 2 Feb 1980 in Port Carbon, but I have found no indication of this when reviewing the obituaries in the local paper, the Pottsville Republican. The obituary of her son Roy calls her Lucy Schlegel of Norristown, so perhaps she had remarried.
