Iroquois, Ontario, Dec. 21, 1934
David Fink, one of Iroquois oldest residents, died on Tuesday, Dec. 18th at Brockville General Hospital as the result of injuries sustained recently, when he fell and suffered a fractured hip.
Mr. Fink was born in Napanee, Ontario on June 6th, 1845. He spent all of his active life in railroading, entering the service of the Grand Trunk Railway as a water boy, later as a telegrapher in Maitland, Ontario, and Vaudreuil, Quebec, then agent at Iroquois. He lived in Iroquois for over 62 years, and was predeceased about thirty-three years ago by his wife, who was the former Parazada Ullman (sister of the late Leslie Ullman of Prescott) of Morrisburg. Mr. Fink was well known in fraternal circles being a charter member of Friendly Brothers Lodge, A.F. & A.M., an honorary life member of Grenville Chapter No. 22 of Prescott, Ontario. At the age of 84 he was made Grand Superintendent of St. Lawrence District and took an active part in all Chapter proceedings. He was also a past Noble Grand of Riverside Lodge I.O.O.F. at Iroquois.
He is survived by three sons, Harry of Montreal; Angus of Ottawa, and Allen of Belleville; two daughters Mrs. Jas. Wilson and Mrs. J.D. Harkness, both of Iroquois; also nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as several nephews and nieces.
The funeral was held on Friday, Dec. 21st at 2 o'clock in the afternoon from St. John's Anglican Church. Interment in Iroquois cemetery (St. John's Anglican).
The pall bearers were all past or present Grand Lodge officers, namely, Walter Kingston, H.H. Hamilton, J.C. Montgomery, H. Tindale, W. Walker and Dr. Gorrell.

IROQUOIS, Ont., Dec. 23 - Funeral service for the late David Fink was held in St. John's Anglican church on Friday. The cortege from the house was escorted by over fifty members of the Masonic order and the funeral service was conducted by Rt. Worshipful Bro. H. Hamilton of Friendly Brothers Lodge No. 143 of Iroquois, where the late Very Worshipful Brother Fink had been a past master for more than fifty years. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery.
Marriage on 1 June 1869 at Morrisburg to Parazada Barbara Ulman.
