Oscar Eugene Thompson, 85, 324 S Hickory, died Wednesday at Bartlett Memorial Hospital He had been in failing health several months Thompson had lived in Sapulpa 12 years, moving here from Grove He retired in 1950 as a building contractor and was born at Paragould, Ark , April 14,1885 He wa a member of the Church of Christ Surviving is his wife, Virgie, of the home a daughter, Mrs Jean Hanvey, Valdosta, Ga six sons, Earl, Santee, Calif See, Arroyo Grande, Calif Lyle,Noble, 111 Bill and Neal, Bakersfield, Calif Henry, Grover City, Calif 11 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild Funeral services will be at 2 p m Friday at Owen Funeral chapel with Delmar Andrews, Great Bend, Kan , assisted by Roger Owen of the local Church of Christ, officiating Interment will be in South Heights cemetery Pallbearers will be E B Crawford, E J Eubanks, Cedi Tarr, Doug Burras, Lee Ward and Herbert Ward
