Homer A. Cline, age 96, of Grove City, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Homer was born in Freeport, PA on Aug. 4, 1925, to Clyde Orr and Anna Mae (Weiner) Cline.
Homer grew up on a farm outside of Slippery Rock near the Old Stone House and then enlisted in the US Army.
He served his country from June of 1944 to May of 1947.
Homer began his career at the Johnstone Foundry and eventually retired from Cooper Bessemer in 1991.
Homer was a member of the American Legion Post 220, VFW Post 519, both Grove City and the Pardoe Sportsman's Club.
Homer is survived by 2 children, Fred Cline and wife Kerri, Jeffersonville, IN, and Rose M. Minner and husband Norm, Bensalem, PA, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a sister, Virginia Liska, Grove City. His parents, 3 sisters, and a brother preceded Homer in death.
