Daughter of Manning Andrew Cersey and Lessie Rachel Sirmans Cersey. She was a book binder in the publishing industry for A. V. Emmott and Sons, and also a school bus driver with the Lowndes County School System. She served as the store manager of the Holiday Market in Twin Lakes. She was preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Russell Brown, Sr., Cynthia Patterson, Amanda Brown, and Leroy Brown, Jr (Terri) - all of Valdosta, GA; sisters, Latrelle Baggett of Moultrie, GA, Linda Hall (Phil) of Valdosta, GA, and Luewoner Wilson; brother, Floyd Martin of Homerville, GA; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
