Eleanor Alderman, beloved sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-great-grandmother went home to the Lord on June 9, 2022. Eleanor was born in Marlinton, West Virginia to Elsie and Edward Sharp. She graduated from Marlinton High School. She married Lacy Alderman in 1947 and was married for 55 years. They moved to Spokane in 1950 and she worked as the department manager for Crescent for 25 years. Eleanor was very active in the Methodist Church and was always sewing something for someone. She was a big help for Shirley in child daycare when she retired.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter Shirley and husband Shayne Wing, grandson Tracy and wife Beth Wing, Great grandsons Luke and Zack Wing, great-granddaughters Chelsea and husband Shade Adams and great-great-granddaughters Jayden and Jazlyn Adams, and great-granddaughters Alicia and husband Cole Beaman, and Nicole Linerud. She was predeceased by her husband Lacy, and grandson Michael Linerud. Eleanor was the most generous, caring, and loving person, an angel on earth. She was our friend, our sister, and our mother. She will be forever in our hearts as we send her back to her heavenly Father with gratitude for the privilege of having shared her life. We love and miss you.

A special thank you to Ridgeview Place staff and Horizon Hospice. Funeral services will be held on June 20, 2022, at 1 pm, at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home. Eleanor's final resting place will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
