Maria Duplechain Boseley Hoover, 66, of Moss Bluff passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 in a Lafayette Hospital. She was born on January 16, 1956 in Kinder, La to Colton and Viviana Conner Duplechain, Sr. Maria enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping, traveling and celebrating Louisiana cajun culture.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Lacy Boseley; son, Delton Boseley, Jr. (Michelle); grandchildren, Marly, Finly, Brooklyn and Channing; brother, Colton Duplechain (Mary); nieces, Tonya Foy (Freddie) and Jamie Attales (Bob) and former husband, Delton Eugene Boseley, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ed Killeen; sister, Sheila Duplechain; maternal and paternal grandparents and step-father, Bud Marcantel.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with Rev. Terry Ardizzone officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 4pm until 9pm and with a rosary at 6:00pm at the funeral home and will resume on Thursday at 9:00am until service time.
