FAISON -- Ms. Katie Jones Adams , 95, of Faison, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in Faison United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro. Arrangements are being handled by Tyndall Funeral Home of Mount Olive. Ms. Adams is survived by a son, Pritchard G. Adams of Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends today from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.

Kate Volesta Jones Adams was the 8th of 12 children of James Henry Jones Sr. and Minnie Mae Creech Jones. She was born April 30, 1907 in Duplin County, North Carolina. She married Pritchard Gibson Adams Sr. in December 1926 in Sampson, North Carolina. They were the parents of Col. Pritchard Gibson Adams Jr., Annie Ruth Adams Pridgen, John Douglas Adams, William Culbreth Adams, Martha Jane Adams Estep. Kate died in Plymouth, Washington County, North Carolina,
