Died, Sept. 19, at 1 a.m., of paralysis, Chloe E., widow of John Armstrong, in her 72nd year. The deceased was well known in this community, having come here from the state of New York as early as the year 1836. Her death will be generally regretted.
She was born in Washington county, NY, April 19, 1811, and was married Nov. 14, 1839. About a year ago she was stricken with paralysis, from which she never fully recovered. Three weeks since a second stroke completed the work, and after lingering between life and death, she finally passed away at 1 o'clock this morning. Four children survive her.
