He was the father of Maria Júlia (1905-1997), Fernando António (1907-1972), Eduardo Victor (1909-1970), Sidónio Alberto (1913-1934), Armando Rui (1916-1999) and Maria Teresa Cerqueira da Silva Pais (1917-1999).
