Betty Jean (Arms) Young, 92, resident of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at her home.
She was born October 27, 1929 to Ezra Arms and Letha (Boettler) Arms in Pearson, Oklahoma.
She was raised in Tecumseh and attended Tecumseh Public Schools.
On June 30, 1950, she married William "Calvin" Young in Fort Townson, Oklahoma. In the early years of their marriage she travelled with her husband from job to job, until they settled in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Betty became a homemaker, cooking, taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the lake, her emus , and family gatherings.
Betty is preceded in death by her mother Letha (Boettler) Arms, and her father Ezra Arms, her husband William "Calvin" Young. Her Brother Ernie Arms, Her sister Juanita Riddle, and a niece Anna Nease.
Betty is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, David and Joann Young of Tecumseh, Ok; Steve and Lynne Young of Tecumseh, Ok; She had 6 Grandchildren; Angie And Wade Stuteville of Shawnee, Ok; Misty and Shayne Stiles of Tecumseh, OK; and Kevin Young and Danielle Coleman also of Tecumseh, Ok; She had 5 Great Grandchildren: Mason Stiles, Wyatt Stuteville, Mackenzi Stiles, Sawyer Stuteville and Hunter Young; as well as other numerous family and friends.
