He passed away in Mercy Hospital Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years 3 months and 5 days. He grew up in Illinois before moving to Wynnewood, Oklahoma where he worked for the Wynnewood refinery retiring after 43 years. He married Margaret Dobbs on February 24, 1997 in Arkansas. They made their home in the Prairie View area. He loved being outside in the front yard visiting with family and friends, traveling, and riding his motorcycle.
