Sherman G. "Gary" Wilt, 81, Lakemont, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona.
Gary was born in Lakemont, son of the late Sherman D. and Mildred (Stiffler) Wilt.
On July 25, 1970, he married Suzanne I. Jones who preceded him death on July 29, 2012.

He was also preceded in death by seven siblings.
Gary was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and served in the US Air Force.
He retired from McClanahan Corporation after decades of loyal service.
Gary enjoyed working on mechanical things, watching old western movies, sitting out on his porch, and spending time with his family.
Most of all, Gary always had a joke to tell and enjoyed putting a smile on your face.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 2309 Broad Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601.
Interment will be at Alto Reste Cemetery.
