Julie Lewis O'Daniel Boatner 66, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, in Shreveport, LA. She was born July 4, 1955, in Austin, TX to Patricia and Thomas Lewis.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Osborn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the funeral home. Rev. Morris Lewis III will officiate assisted by Rev. Bryan Hawthorne. Interment will immediately follow the service at Forest Park Cemetery.

Julie was a graduate of Fair Park High School, Northwestern State University and received her master's degree from Louisiana Tech University. Music has always been a very important part of her life. She played piano, organ, and other instruments while at NSU. She used her talents to play piano and organ for local churches. Julie worked for the State of Louisiana for many years in Vocational Rehabilitation and Disability Determination. She enjoyed her beloved pets. Her dogs had an elaborate wardrobe, and it brought her much joy dressing them up and photographing them, often with themed backgrounds. She also enjoyed collecting antique and collectible dolls, bears, and a few other favorites.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents, and previous husband, Michael O'Daniel.
