PHILLIPS, JAMES H. - born May 1, 1890, deceased this life Dec. 15, 1967 at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 15 days.
He joined Paint Rock Baptist Church May 1, 1921 where he remained a member until death. He was married to Nancy (Chambers) Phillips. He had one son Cecil to preceded him in death.
He leaves his wife, two daughters, Bertha Byrd of Michigan and Nellie Elmore of Morristown. He leaves four sons, Edgar and Lealon Phillips of Helenwood, Maynard and Ewel Phillips of Georgia. He also leaves 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his absence.
He is really missed by all and is gone home to live with Jesus.
