Larry was born in the Oaklawn Township of Southern Greenville County on May 27, 1943 to Broadus Gonzalee and Luree B. Harvey. He graduated from Ellen Woodside High School in 1961, served in the United States Army Reserves for 6 years, and retired from Steel Heddle Manufacturing after 44 faithful years of service. He was a charter member of Praise Cathedral Church of God where he also served as an elder and usher.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 56 years. They were blessed with four children, five grandchildren, one brother.
