PICKENS, SC - William Woodrow Cisson, 71, of 203 Garner Road, husband of the late Maebell Raines Cisson, died Thursday, June 16, 1994 at his residence.

Born in Pickens County, Mr. Cisson was a son of the late Ernest Monroe and Laura McJunkin Cisson. He was self-employed as a general contractor. He was a member of Cannon Mountain Baptist church and the Seniors Unlimited.

Mr. Cisson was twice married, first to the late Flora O'Shields Cisson.

Survivors include a son, Stephen W. Cisson of Pickens; three daughters, Carol Chappell and Arinda Powell, both of Pickens, and Norma Durham of Liberty; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Oliver Cisson of Cleveland and Leo Cisson of Six Mile; and three sisters, Edith Burgess of Pickens, Hester Hendricks of Travelers Rest and Louise Bailey of Marietta.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday at Cannon Mountain Baptist church with interment following in Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Benji Cisson, Rhett Powell, David Chappell, Dave Galloway, Don Holliday and Tony Ferguson.

The body is at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday.

The family is at the home.
