LOIS EMMA SMITH, 91, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010, in Duncan, Okla.

Lois was born May 10, 1918, in Stella, Missouri, to Henry Larimore and May (Wescott) Larimore. Lois lived in Boswell, Okla., before moving to Marlow in the fall of 1942.

She married Hubert Smith in June 1935 in Bennington, Okla. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1955.

Lois loved crocheting and family get-togethers. She enjoyed attending and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Marlow.

Survivors include three sons, James Smith and wife Glenda of Norman, Leon Smith and wife Pat of Norman, and John Paul Smith and wife Judy of Marlow; five daughters, Betty Robertson of Duncan, Lil Hall of Duncan, Rosetta Carnell and husband Jerry of Marlow, Doris Holbrooks of Lincolnton, N.C., and Vi Fuller of Marlow; 23 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; three sons-in-law, Charles Robertson, James Holbrooks and George Hall; two grandsons, John Carnell and Joe Hall; and two great-grandchildren, Johna Lynn Miller and Jacob Miller.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, with Rev. Elwyn Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
