He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edgar Jerry Mull and Letha Hensley Mull; and five brothers: Kenneth, Manual, Doyle, Tim and Roy Mull.
Dee is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Evelyn Mull; two sons, Jim (Annetta) Mull, and Paul Mull; daughter, Sandra Mull Stevens; sisters, Wilma Jean Phillips Smathers, Christine Lanning, Brenda Jones, and Linda Warren; brothers, Jerry, Bruce, Eulis, Carl, Jack, and David Mull; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dee retired from Dayco with 33 years of service. He was an avid farmer and hunter, and most enjoyed sitting on his front porch visiting with his friends and family. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
The family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Monday, June 6th at Garrett Funeral Home in Waynesville. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 7th at Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Cullowhee. Reverend Steve Webb will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Balsam Grove Cemetery Fund at 270 Potpourri Lane, Cullowhee, NC
