Beth Allchin Jewell, age 84, lifelong resident of the Fenwick area, died Sunday, May 31, 1987, at her home.
She was born April 14, 1903, in Bushnell Township to Vir and Ida Comstock Allchin. She was a member of Fenwick Methodist Church, the Grange and Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Cecil Armstrong, Flint; a sister-in-law, Mrs. June Allchin, Rockford; three nieces, Jack and Peggy Glupker, Sharon Crampton, Grand Rapids, Susan Armstrong, Huston, Texas; two nephews, Dewey and Elaine Allchin, Alto, Vir C. and Bonnie Allchin, Rockford, several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home, Sheridan, with interment in Sunny Hill Cemetery near Palo. The Rev. James Cook will officiate.
Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home from 2 t0 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
