Betty Jean Ingram Whitehair, 90, of West Union (Upper Cabin Run Community), WV, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at the residences of her son.

She was born August 18, 1931, on Cabin Run, a daughter of the late Lloyd S. and Bessie M. Rollins Ingram. She was a homemaker, and loved sewing and crocheting.

Surviving are a son, Larry G. Whitehair (Valerie) of Sardis, WV; two grandsons, Larry G. Whitehair Jr. (Melissa), of Pomeroy, OH, and Keith L. Whitehair (Amanda) of West Union; and two great-grandsons, Brendan and Cooper Whitehair.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Roy Whitehair Jr., on July 12, 1996; two sisters, Devenae Hoalcraft and Marian Smith; six brothers, Noel, Harold, Lloyd Con (Sam), Everett, her twin brother Billy Joe and Bobby E. Ingram A graveside service will be held at Cabin Run Cemetery, Oxford Community, on Monday, May 2, 1 p.m., with Pastor Denver Burnsides officiating.

McCullough Funeral Home, Pennsboro, WV, is assisting the family with arrangements.
