Robert Franklin Melton, also known as "Bob" or "Butch", 76, of Richmond, passed away on May 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilliard "Buck" McLain Melton and Ruby Rose Melton; sisters, Catherine Virginia Chambers, Edith L. Turner and Allean McClelland. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Melton. Robert loved being outdoors and worked in the RV industry for over 30 years. He was a devoted father not only to his daughter but also his fur babies, Sonny and Donna. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road. The family respectfully request that all attending Robert's service wear a mask.
