MRS. J.W. REGISTER DIED SUDDENLY
Mrs. J. Wesley (Ellen) Register, 49, passed away at her home near Alamo yesterday morning. She was about her usual house work when she was stricken and died before regaining consciousness. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by eight children, five sons and three daughters. Olin Register, Greenville, SC; Grady Register, Cairo; Mrs. T.H. Vann, Mt Vernon; Mrs. J.E. Young, Dublin; Nollie Register, Miss Eudell, W.L., H.T., and Oris Register, Alamo.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. C. A. Morrison, pastor of the Methodist Church this afternoon and interment will be in the Alamo Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Harvey Holmes, Audry Cox, Alex Harrelson, J.F. Geiger, L.H. Ryals, Joe Couey, Grady Cox, Lennis Braswell and Eschol Bowyer.
Currie Funeral Home, Alamo in charge.
